Its history begins in the 13th century, when a noble family from Certaldo established the centre of the Court of Val D'Elsa there, transforming it into an elegant aristocratic residence while retaining the hallmarks of medieval architecture with its square tower and surrounding walls. Recently restored, the villa now offers a perfect marriage between the charm of a historic residence and contemporary amenities. It is equipped with air conditioning, thalasso baths, satellite TV, internet connection, a laundry room complete with washing machine, dishwasher, freezer and microwave, not to mention DVD and VCR players for family entertainment. Outside, a lush garden houses a 10 x 5m swimming pool built on the old ramparts, offering an exceptional setting for moments of relaxation. A shaded area by a loggia, an old lemon greenhouse converted into a lounge with terrace, as well as a 13th century chapel, add to the unique character of this property. The daily maintenance of the bedrooms and bathrooms is ensured by the servants, who reside in a separate apartment, guaranteeing the peace and privacy of the guests. A continental breakfast is prepared 7 days a week, from 9am to 12pm, for a carefree stay. For additional comfort, a cook, a babysitter and a housekeeper can be requested on request. However, due to its precious character, this residence is not recommended for groups or families with more than 4 children under 12 years old.
