About this villa

This centuries-old villa, nestled within an exceptional 600-hectare estate, flourishes in the heart of the green hills of the Orcia Valley, a region between Siena and Montalcino, hailed for its picturesque beauty by UNESCO. At the heart of this majestic site stands a 16th century residence accompanied by an imposing keep, both enveloped by a splendid park decorated with holm oaks and centuries-old oaks, accessible via a stunningly beautiful alley, adorned with cypresses. In a continuing effort to preserve historic authenticity whilst providing all modern comforts, meticulous renovations have been undertaken. The bathrooms, while reflecting the era of the construction, now benefit from modern facilities. The air-conditioned rooms are the perfect cozy nest to recharge your batteries. The kitchen, retaining its original charm, has been equipped with current technologies: oven, microwave, dishwasher, thus facilitating the preparation of exquisite dishes. From the keep, the gaze is lost in a breathtaking 360° panorama, overlooking Siena, Montalcino, Mount Amiata and offering an enchanting vision of the Val d’Orcia. Outside, visitors have the exclusivity of a sumptuous swimming pool, complete with a shower and equipped for relaxation with sun loungers and deck chairs. The park invites you to relax in elegantly arranged lounges under the welcoming shade of the trees, while a furnished terrace allows you to enjoy outdoor meals around a large table ready to accommodate 16 guests. A dedicated staff, living in an adjacent house, discreetly ensures cleaning and daily preparation of breakfast. The village of Buonconvento, the nearest bastion of civilization, is just 4 km away, with Montalcino 10 km and Siena 30 km. The Orcia Valley, a living picture of natural beauty and exceptional artistic harmony, is also a land of illustrious wines, such as Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano or Rosso Orcia, which combine wonderfully with a local gastronomy rich in a centuries-old cultural heritage.
